The Western Iowa Tech Community College Cherokee Campus offers residents with a variety of educational opportunities. Career and technical programs in nursing, construction and welding, along with associate degree programs are offered through the campus. The Cherokee County Promise offers residents of Cherokee County free college courses through the Western Iowa Tech Community College Campus. 

The Cherokee Public Library provides materials, technology and service to help nurture minds and enhance our community.

Biographical Info

Permanent exhibits about archaeology, paleontology natural history as well as local history. The planetarium programs are the last Sunday of the month or by reservation for a group of 10 or more during the week. We have a variety of monthly programs.
