The Western Iowa Tech Community College Cherokee Campus offers residents with a variety of educational opportunities. Career and technical programs in nursing, construction and welding, along with associate degree programs are offered through the campus. The Cherokee County Promise offers residents of Cherokee County free college courses through the Western Iowa Tech Community College Campus. 

The Cherokee Public Library provides materials, technology and service to help nurture minds and enhance our community.

Northwest Area Education Agency is a regional agency that provides school improvement services for students, teachers and administrators. Northwest AEA staff, schools and families work together to help all children reach their potential.
