The CRMC Cherokee Fitness Center is the perfect place to help you meet your health and fitness goals. With amenities and activities designed for virtually every age group and activity level. The facility includes an indoor pool, fitness equipment, gymnasium, racquetball courts, indoor walking/jogging track, and interactive game area. 

Explore the newly expanded Cherokee Trails system. When complete, the loop will provide over 9 miles of continuous trails in Cherokee, connecting residents with the scenic park system and retail community. 

The Bacon Aquatic Center opened in June of 2007 and features a zero-entry pool with children’s features like a sand play area and splash pad, open water slides and diving boards.

Cherokee Parks & Recreation offer a variety of youth and adult recreation leagues as well as activities for our seniors through the Good Times Place Senior Center. 

Cherokee County has over 1,000 acres of land devoted to parks that are managed by the Cherokee County Conservation Board. County Parks include actives such as fishing, horseback riding and canoeing on the Little Sioux River.
