What better way to stimulate our local economy than keeping the money where it belongs – in the community in which we live! Thousands of dollars are funneled back into the Cherokee economy each year through the Cherokee Chamber Bucks program. Chamber Bucks are gift certificates that may be used at any Chamber member business, including retailers, restaurants, service and other businesses in the Cherokee area. Chamber Bucks are just like cash and come in $5, $10 and $25 denominations. They work like gift certificates and are designed to encourage support of local area businesses. They are redeemable at any Chamber Member Business. 

Buying Chamber Bucks

Chamber Bucks are available year round at the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce. Stop by the office at 201 West Main Street in Cherokee. We recommend calling the office at (712) 225-6414 ahead of time so that Chamber Bucks are ready when you pick them up. Chamber Bucks may be purchases in $5, $10 and $25 denominations. There is no service fee associated.

Giving Chamber Bucks

Cherokee Chamber Bucks make great gifts for that hard to shop for person. We have had people purchase them to give as gifts for weddings, Christmas and graduation. They also make a great Thank You gift. As we joke “They are always the right size and come in the right color.” Many businesses and organizations use Chamber Bucks as door prizes and awards. Businesses have also given Chamber Bucks to their employees as incentives or bonuses. 

Spending Chamber Bucks

Chamber Bucks can be redeemed at any Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Business. We can provide the person purchasing them with a list of Chamber Businesses.
